GLASS HOUSE COLLECTIVE
Art Anywhere Kit
Glass House Collective (GHC) was founded to bring life back to Glass Street, and Glass Street back to life in East Chattanooga.
For nearly a decade, they've focused on making this historic area cleaner, safer, and more inviting. Their goal is to jumpstart positive change not just in their neighborhood, but throughout the city as a whole.

An Interactive Guide + Social Campaign

In response to COVID-19 disruptions, Glass House Collective and I quickly collaborated to help fulfill a need presented by a local Art Teacher at Hardy Elementary. To ensure students could continue making art despite the stay-at-home order, we launched a unique fundraising campaign for art supplies.
The style of children's coloring books, filled with black vector art waiting to be colored, set the theme for the following deliverables I designed:
Social and email campaign for funding
Custom illustrated coloring sheets included in the supply pack
Interactive How-To Guide designed to help others replicate our strategy
Art Anywhere Kit info webpage hosted on the GHC site
Printed Thank You cards for every donor

$2,799 was raised by 93 donors making it possible for every student at Hardy Elementary (500) to receive an Art Anywhere Kit. We also turned the project into an interactive How-To Guide for other communities and schools to replicate our efforts.
